A manufacturer of spas contracted us to custom fabricate this frame which was designed for use in a hot tub. Composed of 12 gauge, 316 stainless steel, it featured dimensions of 40” in height, and 8’ in diameter. This unique product required precision metal forming, and met tolerances of ±0.060”. Fabrication began with shearing to size the 12 gage stainless steel; it then had all of the water jet holes and angles laser cut. The unit was then formed and welded, with dimensional inspections being performed at each step. The finished tub then had all of the interior surfaces polished to a brilliant #4 RMS finish.
