Blackburn Fabrication's facility houses specialty laser cutting machinery along with heavy duty material handling and lifting equipment that enables us to handle outsized fabrications with ease. The 36" x 216" x 4" gate pictured here was manufactured by us for a customer in the sand and gravel industry. Working with carbon steel, we laser cut the frame components on our large-bed cutter, which allowed us to achieve tolerances of ±.060". Additional components were saw cut with the same precision. Our expert welders joined the pieces, creating tough seams that would withstand rigors of outdoor exposure. We applied a weather and corrosion resistant painted finish to complete the job. At each step, we inspected the gate to guarantee that it will remain looking and operating like new form many years to come. It took us just two short weeks to deliver this job to the customer.
